So I was watching the local news and this girl comes on wearing a black and grey top except for all around her chest, the top was bright red.
When i first saw it I thought it was a red shirt she had on under a sweater or something, but it was just a top made like that.
So my question is how in the world can she or anyone else wearing a similar top expect men to NOT look at her chest? She has basically put a big red flashing sign saying look how big my chest is.
Of course when someone does look then we are perverts and not respectful of women. How does that work?
Isn't there some with enough common sense to know that she is asking to be looked at? There can be no other reason to wear something that so dramatically calls attention to your chest.
Its quite possible she does like, or at least not mind, men looking. There are women who do, among the many women who don't. Its quite possible she doesn't expect men not to look, you are making an assumption about her state of mind.
If someone else is telling you not to look at a third person - well who cares.
So if the analogy was simply a "block of red" in the middle of his crotch THEN it would be okay?
It would then be an equal analogy, but it wouldn't make any sense because MOST men's trousers don't have color blocking.
It's very common for certain types of women's tops to have various color blocks on them. The meaning you assign to those blocks seems to be point of this post.
It's very common for women's tops to have various color blocks on them.
And it's more likely that these kinds of color blocks, stripes, pockets, etc. are saying "this is a sweater!" as opposed to "look at my boobs!" Frankly, many guys are going to look at boobs no matter how loudly the clothes are yelling.
So if the analogy was simply a "block of red" in the middle of his crotch THEN it would be okay?
The analogy would work better except for the fact that women generally aren't interested in ogling men's crotchal areas. If women looked, it would likely be in a "those pants look really stupid" way, and not a "hey, check out his crotch!" way.
He just liked the way it looked on him.
Didn't expect anyone to notice or have their eyes diverted by the spectacle.
... because Ian Anderson on stage in a gold lame thong is EXACTLY the same thing as this:
