Every year the question pops up: what is your new year resolution. You have those who seriously make a list (like me) and those who pick a common resolution to have something (like i use to do) and those who make fun of it.

What do you think about these people? how they approach life & their personality

There's nothing wrong with having goals. I don't believe we need to read more into it.

Do you know anyone that ever made a resolution and actually stuck to it? I don't. I wouldn't make any myself, but consider it rude to mock others that do, or to tease them when they have announced it then break it.

Most people I know who make them don't commit to them. Therefore, I take them with a grain of salt. Then again, I don't really pay people much attention in the first place.

Making resolutions was something I remember doing w a y b a c k years ago...now at this late date I know what I need to do and not to do. If I haven't learned by now, I've got a lot of wasted years in my learning process.

I think it's great to have new hopes for the turning year, there is the winter with its long dark which is a sort of hibernation time,or the winter solistice/Xmas where we celebrate the eventual return of the light,I say that is a good time to plant hopes.

My life is a bit dire at the moment with illness etc so I haven't made any resolutions,I guess the number one thing would be to get well.
