I do not like that they give no phone number..not worth the drive to find they do not have what I need in stock. Prices are deceiving...Winn Dixie & Publix both have Butterball Turkeys for 99cents per lb...These guys want $1.99 'on sale' in their flyer. Will stick with the stores that have free carts, free customer service, bagging services and have earned my loyalty over so many years.

Aldi's doesn't run 'loss-leaders'. They have their store brands, generally lower prices than the big stores.

we went to Aldi's in North Port for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had never been to one before and was looking forward to it since I had heard it was like a Trader Joe's which I thing is generally pretty good.

This was no Trader Joe's. The fresh food/meats were such low quality I could not believe it. We bought some pork chops, which might have been pork but were just little shreds of meat and bones and gristle. We threw them out after trying to cook them.

The frozen stuff we bought was very low quality as well, except for the Parmesan chicken tenders which were quite good-but so heavily loaded with preservatives and chemicals I will not be buying them again-heck I do not see every going to an Aldi's again period. The bottle of cheap Pino wasn't too bad, but the german style lager was poor compared to Becks or Heineken.

Very low quality place IMO

How you have a Save A Lot, Aldi, and a Walmart Neighborhood market with in 2 miles or so of each other is ridiculous. I still can not believe the mall and county allowed an Aldi to be placed at that location. AMAZING!

We shop at five major grocers in Port Charlotte keeping track of specials and what store carries the best verities of the product we are in need of.We are centrally located as far as grocers are concerned and do a lot of shopping on a bicycle.Furthers store is a little over two miles from home which makes for a good ride.Glad to have Aldi as they have good quality and prices on several items that we always buy and keep in stock.Best thing about this store is there is no worry about some lazy bum leaving a cart in the middle of the parking lot hitting ones car.
