They had a country band playing, and they had the whole team of Budweiser Clydesdales there pulling their beer wagon, with the Dalmatian, and doing incredible maneuvers.

Back in the day Barb's Bar would let the the Cow Hunter ride their horse through the bar on Rodeo day and buy a beer never getting off their horse. Back then I had horses and I still have a picture of my then 9 year old on his pony with a beer in his hand inside Barb's Bar,.... 20 years ago.
The Arcadia Rodeo is world famous and Out of state Cowboys come to compete with Florida Cow Hunters. Of Course Cow Hunter carry a Bull Whip instead of a Lasso and have to HUNT or chase cattle out of swamp land. The History of the Arcadia Rodeo goes back to when Florida was the Second Largest Cattle Production state in the nation right after Texas. Florida can't fatten cattle because we are not a grain state. Therefore Florida is known as a Cow Calf state. We birth cattle and raise them long enough to be shipped North to the Grain states. It takes approx 7 pounds of grain to product one pound of Meat. Therefore it is more economical to ship the caves north for fattening.
