I think I remember seeing a list of local agents/companies that were in the rental market, but can't find it again to save my life!
Does anyone have a list they can send my way? Interested in the Port Charlotte, North Port, Punta Gorda areas.Thanks.

TamRe, is there a central listing service for rental homes similar to the MLS for homes on the market or does each agency list only their own properties and not really have access to what other agents are offering? It would be really nice to consolidate my search on one site rather than having to jump between different ones.

You can search rentals in the MLS, but that doesn't include half of them that are out there. You have to search the myriad of other sites to find something most of the time. Each agency only has a few listings as well as the rental ad sites. So it takes time to really find something. I suggest hooking up with a few different agencies and have them search for you so that when something new comes on the market, they can contact you. With the rental ad sites, you have to hunt yourself.

We rented a home in Cape Coral for a month, drove to Punta Gorda, feel in love. Bought a house and close on Friday. We are all smiles. Now I am looking for a rental agency to assist with rentals. I will contact some of the sites that were suggested. This forum is wonderful.
We also saw the Blue Angels and the PG airshow. we knew where to stop and view the activity due to conversations on this forum.
