This morning we were out on the lanai having coffee (me in my P.J.'s) and a young man came walking around the house. "I'm here to scrape your grass off to get it ready for the dig tomorrow". For the pool of course!

For the past few months I pain stakingly watered and planted and plugged back there so we would have nice grass (not thinking we were getting a pool) only to see it all get hauled away this morning!

That's ok, water is better than grass any day!!!!

When I saw your thread title I thought someone stole your grass. Yeah, you will have a dirt pile in the yard for awhile and a big hole. But it is worth it. It goes pretty quick from one stage to the next. We had it done at two different homes. But you will have to put new grass in around the pool area after it is complete. But at least it should still be in the rainy season and you can get it watered by nature. Best of luck on the pool!

Yep new grass around there and around the side of the house where the equipment is coming through. I'm counting on the rainy season to water it for me (I HOPE!)

Our dog went out and was walking around in the dirt looking so confused. I told him SWIM BUDDY SWIM!
