Other than the standard Michael's or JoAnn Fabrics does anyone know if there are any Yarn stores in the Port Charlotte Area? Thanks

Don't know if Knit Wit Studios is still in business or not. They are on Kings Highway near Tamiami in PC. Also, doesn't WalyWorld sell yarn?

I think there is one in N Fort Myers and another couple in Fort Myers. I don't have the names of the stores but I remember a friend talking about them.

There is a new fabric store called Hancock Fabrics in the same plaza as Michaels just a few doors down and next to Denmark Interiors. I am pretty sure they sell yarn.

Yes TamRE I went into Hancock their yarn section is rather small. I was looking for a shop that sells just yarn, knitting needles and such ~ Portland is full of them ~ they carry better quality yarns

Knit Wit is no longer in business

Yes WalyWorld sells yarn but as I was saying I'm looking for an actual Yarn Store that sells nothing but yarns ~ Portland had one in every neighborhood it seemed you can get nicer yarns there.

I can buy it on line but I like playing with the yarn before I buy it
