I just want to give y'all a shout out. Reading through all these posts every day, it is clear how much you love the area and really try to help out newcomers, as well as those you have become friends with.

Keep up the good work of being good folks. Y'all make a positive difference and put a smile on this mods face every day. I am learning a lot here.

Thank-you.
I know we all have a tendency to stray off topic now and again, but it's all educational and part of conversation and being part of the C-D community. I know I too have learned a lot here and appreciate the help from all.

Yes, I've learned so much that really would have been impossible to find out without a forum like this--the kinds of things that you learn only from everyday life living somewhere. It's great that people take the time to share their experiences because much of the info is simply not available anywhere else. Thank you all!

Same here. We have learned much, both from the forum and our own research we have to do.

Great forum, great people.

Thanks NPG for noticing. Ever since I started posting here - when this forum was still merged with the Sarasota Forum, we've had great posters that are helpful, and informative. Many people come here looking for information and advice to help them find great communities here in SWFL. And, what they find is . . . that there are a lot of great people here willing to help them out, and share information that can and often does save them time, energy, and money. I started out with one level of expectations, and by talking to posters here, they help me adjust them, so when I finally moved here, I really knew it was just the right fit for me. Also, many of us have met and become friends, and we still come back to help others. It may be hard to tell sometimes when we needle each other, but its our way of having fun.
