A few years ago I was driving up Pellum (Ave, St??) when I saw a flock of vultures on the side of the road. As I passed by I did a quick glance and thought I saw a Bald Eagle in the center of them. I drove around the block and sure enough, there was a Bald Eagle standing in the center eating something while all the vultures patiently waited for scraps. I guess they knew who the boss was!

Good shots, Mike! We have one in our area too, and he sits on our roof with his fish! They sure are pretty!

We cross the Conowingo Dam in MD when we go to Philly sometimes.

The roadway is about level with tops of the trees growing below the dam.

Certain times of the year large congregations of bald eagles can be seen perched in the treetops waiting for the dam turbines to chew up some shad. Sometimes there are 1-2 dozen birds!
