Planning a condo-hunting trip in mid June; 2 fussy adults for 5 days or so. (Must take very clean quiet well-traveled kitty.) Clean is #1.

Try looking at rental homes in VRBO.com?

We're renting one in Rotunda in late June, very reasonable pricing, with pool, on a canal.

Regards

Thanks for your reply Rich. That would be ideal; this is a short stay, only 5 days. I checked a few nice ones on Air BnB, but they won't allow the kitty. Some motels, hotels do, and believe me, I am fussier than they are.

Checkout 'bring fido.com' for pet friendly motels. Cats and short-term rental homes are generally a no-no due to the amount of damage a cat can do to a home in that short of time (urine, etc). While your cat may be well mannered, blanket prohibitions protect the homes.

Yes, I truly understand. I've had 2 bad experiences with 'pet friendly' places that were filthy. I always check out the room thoroughly before agreeing to take the key. Yes, I am bragging -- my kitty is very mellow, and cleaner than some people.

There is a Wyndham on 41 in PC that has timeshares they sometimes allow small pets or possibly Fishermans village in PG.

Yes, thank you. I saw that Wyndham/Micro-Tel in my search online and called them, and that could be a fit. I'll check Fisherman's Village also. I called the number that Peter "Searchers" sent me, and her listings could work out well also if a friend of mine decides to come along. At least now I have options; appreciate the help.

Airbnb is the best, just make sure it has good reviews and they allow pets.
