Well, that article was quite informative. Sounds like the new owners are not someone that I choose to spend money with!

I'm with Mike. My wife and I like going by boat and taking family/friends when they are in town. Their exit will seriously cut down the money spent at Fisherman's Village.

Well, hopefully whatever they do will be an improvement.....They can't sell condos at the Sunseeker, why would they have better luck at Fisherman's village?

It's pretty apparent that ATA Fishville intends to clean house. First they offered the timeshare holders an opt out, promising no legal action, if they didn't want to pay the huge hike in their annual fee. The Harry's thing sounds like ATA wants them out, too. A rumor was floating a Jimmy Buffet restaurant was one of the possible replacements.

Scotty's was sold to a local guy and the paper reported ATA is in a deal with him. ATA has a $40M commitment with the city to refurbish Fishville so there will probably be more big changes to come.

Now called Village Brewhouse: https://www.thevillagebrewhouse.com/

I've never been a fan of chain restaurants so I hope this turns out to be something positive and that the new owners are successful.

Regulations and new laws put in place by the last administration are making it harder and harder for small companies to compete with big business. Only truly small business (10 employees or less) can survive the competition.
