I have been most impressed with both Pender's Antiques and Refinishing, and ProFinish. They are located over in North Raleigh, but easily worth the drive. They will pick up and deliver.
Reupholstry is not cheap, but if you have a quality piece of furniture, it is better to have the piece reupholstered than buy new. Both of these guys came to me with excellent recommendations, and their work is beautiful. You may supply the fabric, or they will provide samples from which you may choose.
Does anyone have the name of the companies who show at the Southern Home Show that do reupholstery?
I know it won't be cheap... It's not a cheap sofa We want to keep it- it's 40 years old and in great shape. A very high quality piece. I appreciate your recommendations and will check into those both.
