I can't believe we'll be there to visit in less than a month! Can anyone recommend places to eat for less than $7? We'll probably visit Raleigh, Clayton, FV, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Cary, Chapel Hill... oh you get it... everywhere!

Buy some Boars' Head deli meat and bread. Fat Baddy's makes a decent burger for that....good onion rings as well.
Not sure there is much for less then 7$, but I hope someone has some great ideas! I'd love to hear them!!
$7 bucks is hard to come by.... are you getting a drink too?!?!?!?!
As for cheap eats.. in Raleigh there's Snoopys (a hot dog joint) that is borderline legendary. Also if you don't have the Qdoba chain in your area, check it out -- burritos the size of your head!!
You can't get a full meal here, but you should definitely stop by Locopops for their fabulous popsicles! They have a location in Durham just north of the Duke gardens & another new location in Chapel Hill.
I think Sushi Thai on Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh has dollar sushi rolls at lunch time. You can eat at Char Grill on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh for about $7.00 (I highly recommend their sweet tea with a burger and fries). Also a place called Neomonde Bakery (middle Eastern/Mediteranean) near Meredith College for lunch is awesome and I think you could definitley eat there for $7.00 (probably have to drink water though). Snoopy's Hot Dogs is always good.
Oh, yeah...CharGrill.
I'm always pumping Clyde Cooper's barbecue, but the fact is, $7.00 will get you fed with a tip, done right.
Pop into Harris Teeter and get a ready-made individual salad, with a roll for $4.00-$4.50, and split a two liter of some swill... No gratuity, and money left for a cookie!
The Toot and Tell in Garner has a great slam/thud food buffet that I think is under $7.00. Have a glass of water. Tip the ladies who will be giving you great service.
