I used to go to a Hibachi place back in Florida that we loved, but it was family owned so they were the only location.

Anything in the Cary area worth going to? Tomorrow is my birthday and I haven't been to one since we moved here 2 years ago.

Ichibar just opened recently and it's close to us, but I don't know if it's the hibachi where they cook the food on the griddle and you sit around it. It's like a show, and that's what I'm after.

Any suggestions?

Try Ginza Japanese Steakhouse. Located on Cary Pkway, in the same plaza as Stonewood Grill and Biaggi's. It's really pretty good. There is also one in Brier Creek called Fujisan.

Any coupons floating around for Ginza? The one on their website is expired.

I have eaten the hibachi at Ichibar and no, they don't cook it in front of you or anything.

Yup, that's what we're looking for. We went to the water park in Greensboro today and were too tired to go out so we just did takeout instead. Thanks for the suggestions guys, we'll go out to Hibachi soon.

There is also kabuki - off buck jones rd in Cary next to the jellybeans skating rink. I recall its much cheaper than ginza, but not quite as nice looking.
