Anyone in the Triangle area need moving boxes? We're unpacking and we'd love to see them reused. Most of them are standard U-Haul small, med, large and extra-large. Of course it's going to take us a while to get everything unpacked but they are already piling up and getting in the way!!

Same here. We're down by Lake Wheeler and will have lots of moving boxes available.

I have a friend who would be interested in them! He just purchased a home in my neighborhood and needs to start packing ASAP.

I can have him contact you Thursday/Friday, just PM your info.

Thanks!
Heather

Not sure if it applies in the NC area, but a website that's been totally helpful for me has been UsedCardboardBoxes.com. They take donations of used cardboard boxes in good condition and delvier them to people who need them. It's been fantastic and I highly recommend it. I'm pretty sure you can contact them to setup donations too however. And portions of their proceeds go to save trees.

Default Need moving boxes asap and THANKS!

We are in need of clean boxes asap. We are willing to pay a minimal price for them, however, of course would not turn down free! We live in Wake Forest, so somewhere closeby would work best, but definitely willing to travel to get them! Sendme a private message if you would like to tell us where we can go to get them from you if you have some.
Thanks!

Sell them on Craigslist in the "garage and moving sales" section. Someone will come to your house, take the boxes and packing paper, and PAY YOU for the trouble! WOOT!!! I've sold 2/3 of our boxes for $35, and gave a bunch more for free to the locksmith I hired... who was one of my box customers, which is how I found him to begin with. Oh, how the world goes round.

We've unpacked most of our stuff and have lots of boxes in need of a good home. Please PM me if you need any. No charge. . . just come get them. We are located a few miles south of Lake Wheeler. Most have been used twice, maybe more, so there is lots of writing and tape. . . but hey. . . they're free.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful ideas and the link.

For medium/large boxes with the cut out handles, I suggest visiting your local grocery store and requesting the boxes all the eggs are arrive in.

For medium/large boxes with a removable top, try calling up your local Avon center/shop and asking for their boxes Reps get their products in.

Try Scholastic for medium size boxes with cut out handles and a lid that is attached on one side.

For some extra sturdy boxes, try your local liquior stores.

I have tons of packing peanuts that I will be happy to sell, since I will be keeping and using our bubble wrap. If interested, e-mail me directly or IM me.

Thanks,
mshs2
