My family is building a new home in the Brassfield elementary school district, however, the home is not complete. We are trying to rent a home in that area so that my child can start school there for the upcoming 2007-2008 year, however, we are not finding anything less than $3000/mo. Are there any homes for rent in that area (not so pricey)?

I did a search for you and only found two rentals and the lowest priced one was 3K like you had said. Since it's only temporary, what about an apartment complex or townhome. I know there are some nearby on Falls near Durant and Raven Ridge Roads. Don't know which school they are assigned to though.

With a signed Offer to Purchase and Contract you may be able to enroll your child in Brassfield and live nearby not necessarily in the Brassfield district. It might be worth calling to see if they will accept that for enrollment.

Good Luck.
