"Boo'ing" is a relatively new tradition in some neighborhoods. One family "boo's" a home by leaving a bag of goodies and/or a Halloween greeting on the door of another family. Once that family is "boo'd," they need to do it to another family and on and on. Once they've been "boo'd," they put a "I've been boo'd" sign on their house.

The poll question is, "Is "boo'ing" a good tradition or not? Or do we all have enough to do already to celebrate holidays?

I think it's cute and I can see how the kids would like it but I don't think I'd be all that into it this time of year. Plus I don't think it would really work in my n'hood.

We have always enjoyed it. Also, just a note--you boo TWO families, and tell them to copy the note and the sign and boo two more. I go to the dollar store, get some party favors/pencils/candy and divvy it up between 2 little buckets. I spend maybe $5 total. We were almost the last in our side of the subdivision to get boo'ed this year and my kids were losing their minds over it! I think it's loads of fun.

I guess I don't follow Philadelphia news enough, as I missed whatever this was.
