I recently got a job in Raleigh (I'm originally from Charlotte) and I need to find a place to live...Quickly. I'm looking for a 1BR that is relatively affordable ($650 and Under) in a good/safe area. I am a very social and active person so any nightlife, parks, trails, etc. would be a huge plus. Thanks in advance!
If you don't mind something older, Drucker & Falk have a couple communities you might like... St. Marys Apts (I lived there for a little over a year and really enjoyed it), Shamrock Apts, Raleigh Apts, and a few others I'm blanking out on. All are near nightlife type things, not too terribly far from trails, and pretty close to North Hills as well. They lack fancy amenities but are in your price range.
Thanks for the response. I would also like to explore individual properties, as I think I can get a little more bang for my buck. I can't seem to find a good resource for these types though.
I would think so too. There are quite a few homes that rent here in North Hills. There are 3 young professionals who rent beside us. There may a sub lease around that might work for you.
I have a single friend who lives at Brookefield Apartments. Very close to your price range - could be worth looking into. Good luck!
