Are you up to the Challenge? Run from the NCSU clock tower to the Krispy Kreme on Person Street in downtown Raleigh. Eat one dozen doughnuts and then run back to NCSU campus. All in under 1 hour. There are over 7,000 runners signed up (not all will attempt to eat doughnuts). They raise a lot of money for charity and it is a great time. I was downtown tonight and stopped by the Person Street Krispy Kreme to get some shots of people picking up their t-shirts and other gear for the race tomorrow. Good Luck Racers! The night before Krispy Kreme Challenge 2011!

Really? Does the number of calories burned during the length of the run=the number of calories consumed?

I've been looking for a way around the fat content of a KK donut for years!!!

Not everyone keeps the donuts "down" , so I guess they don't technically consume all the calories.

I'm not proud to admit that while "training," I had no problem keeping a dozen down. My wife however, had to lie down after eating only 2!

Lots of fun despite the nasty weather! Photo 201 is of bikini girl - all I can say is she must have been cold!

I love Krispy Kreme! I'm saddened to hear their future closing downtown.
