We're on our way down Friday night to look at some apartments and just to get a feel fpr the area again. Can anyone recommend any nice apartments in the N. Raleigh area? The wife likes a few in Briar Creek but i'm trying to convince her that they are more expensive than others in N. Raleigh because of its proximity to RTP.
I am a fan of the Falls River area - My Mom had an apartment in Summermill and lived there for several years. Staff is nice, courteous. Place is clean and mostly quiet. has a small workout room. pool. walking distance to shopping and near the falls river greenway so great for walking. Elevators which is great for the upper floors and bringing groceries in. Her rent was in the $700 per month for a 1 BR apartment.

So from this, I presume that you do not care about being near RTP--so where do you need proximity to? "North Raleigh" is quite spread-out.
There are a number of apartment complexes in the Lake Lynn area of North (really northwest) Raleigh ... near the corner Lynn and Ray roads. Fairly residential neighborhood with shopping nearby.
Bexley in Wake Forest. Spacious two bedroom, nice, quiet, safe and the management is great. I lived there for a while and loved it. No elevator. I hated third floor. Price for two bedroom was close to $900.

I've got some experience of apartments in Brier Creek - seeing as I'm living in one. Feel free to DM me if I can help around this area
