My husband and I are relocating to the triangle area in the next few weeks and are seriously considering a home near Middle Creek Elementary. I've looked at the reviews on Greatschools.org, but there were very few. I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience with this school?

My kids are in K and 2nd Grade and we're coming from the Phoenix area and a traditional school calendar. Thank you.

My son went K-4th grade there before getting re-assigned to a different ES for 5th grade. My daughter also went K-2nd there. The both really liked it there but the principal who was there during their time has just recently left for another position. I think this year is the first full year for the new principal. I haven't heard much about the new principal but my daughter does play soccer with several girls who still go to school there. I haven't heard anything negative though.

You wouldn't happen to be looking at a home in Jamison Park would you? I know of one that is for sale because of a family relocation and its a wonderful neighborhood.

Good luck!

I live in the community next to Jamison Park and the entire area is lovely. Don't know about the schools, though, as my son is only pre-school.

My daughters just started first and fifth grade there in August and so far we are happy with it. There is a LOT of parent involvement and the teachers seem genuinely interested in the kids in their classes.
The year round school is nice for the younger kids since they get breaks more often and they are ready to go back when it comes time so far. That may change in the summer though

Best of luck on the move!

I have a Kindergartener there and so far we've been very happy with it. While I have nothing to compare it to, I'm pretty impressed with how my child's reading has flourished this year. Overall, it seems like a good elementary school.

I DJ their father/daughter dance (for the last 3 years) and I'm really impressed with the PTA there and their involvement. Our elementary school (Holly Springs) doesn't have a father/daughter dance. I have two friends with kids that go there and they speak very highly of it.

Any recent reviews of this school? It is our base. I know they just changed principals last fall.
