Phew, close call! My area of E Raleigh next to knighdale is under tornado warning. Friend's car on Maywood ave off S saunders st is under a tree! Earps seafood roof is gone. When they said it was heading from downtown Raleigh to Knightdale, my blood ran cold, I am right in the middle. We were in our safe place, huddled with our dog who didn't like it one bit. Glad all are safe!
Friend who lives over in the Brentwood area of Raleigh, and was making fun of me going to my downstairs neighbor's apartment, has several large tree limbs coming through the roof/ceiling of his house and a large tree fell on his truck, totaling it.
