I enjoy having a garage for workspace, if I'm simply changing the oil on both my truck and my wife's car or just fixing something - or something as easy as unloading the car from the store when it's raining.

I'm not in the elements during the heat of the summer and cold of the winter. Having a garage is just really nice, since this is my first home I've lived in that had a garage.

I'm very surprised to hear that there are any new homes in that price range built with no garages. I personally wouldn't buy a house without a garage or the space to build one. We use ours too much. Where would you put your beer fridge? lol

One next to my lazy boy recliner in front of the widescreen TV, and the other is custom mounted in the headboard of my bed.

Duh....

i would never buy a home without a garage or at least the land to build a garage.

i like being able to pull into the garage and unload my groceries etc without getting in the weather and also like being able to work on my cars anytime i want in a clean environment.

I have 2 car right now and if i ever get remarried, 3 car or at least 1 2 car and one separate building for toys/spare car.

We're looking for a 3-car now. Would love a 4-car. Like room to tinker AND park cars. We have 4 cars right now as it is.

Personal preference probably but a garage seems necessary if you are used to one. Losing basements was hard. Losing the garage is not optional. We recently left behind the storage shed and realize now just how small two car garages are!

We have a 4-car garage (only 2 cars though) and it has one big drawback. . . . . .I'll never be able to go back to a 2-car garage again

My wife parks in one of the 2-car garages and I park in the other, which is detached from the house. My garage also contains all of the yard tools and lawn tractor. Her garage also contains my home brewery and 2 spare fridges.

I never had a garage and never gave a flip for having one. It would only end up a throw all room, and I hate nothing more than a big pile of clutter. Our place has a utility room, plus a shed with a shelter roof for all my tools and stuff.
