How long is 'screen porch' season?

I guess I was only thinking it was sticky outside relative to inside the rental where the AC was barely on. I didn't find it uncomfortable.

But the air quality has been bad the last two days due to the fire. Probably doesn't help.

That is a major selling point in general with Raleigh/North Carolina. Just the idea of screened porches usable all year round.
