I have a Sports Jacket I need to take to the tailors to have the sleeves taken in. I'm looking for a recommendation for a tailor around The Falls of Neuse / I-540 area of North Raleigh. Any tips on local costs for this kind of wrk would be appreciated as well. Thanks!
I *love* LuLus tailor in Falls River - I haven't had them alter a sportcoat, but they have done many things for my daughter and they do a beautiful job. I have had them alter jeans and dresses and skirts. She also repaired my husband's coat lining of his good winter coat and you would never know he had ripped the lining in several places.
They do beautiful work.
It is across from Taza's grill, around the corner from ace. They have their rates listed on the board as you go in, so you can get an idea of what the costs are.and she will also tell you how much it will be.
If needed, they will do a pretty quick turnaround - not sure if they charge more for the quickness.
I used LuLu's for a bridesmaid dress a few years ago and was pleased with the work. There is (was?) a place next to Duffy's on FON that is supposed to be very good. He *might* have moved to Triangle Town Center but I can't remember for sure.
Ditto on LuLu's. I actually just dropped off a pair of pants and gym shorts today. Great place -- very dependable.
