I use a family nurse practitioner, Brinkley Sugg, who does all of my care and I cannot say enough good things about him. He is with Duke Primary Care in Morrisville. I have recommended him to friends and they have all loved him. His bedside manner is fantastic. He takes his time to sit and talk with me and opens the computer chart and walks through it with me before coming up with a treatment plan together.
My wife and I go to Dr. Baruiz (office is at Old Apex and Cary Pkwy). From my experience, she's been great... doesn't rush you out the door like many others that I've seen in the past. Additionally, the nurse there is AWESOME at drawing blood... I HATE needles, but I can't feel a thing when she draws my blood. The front desk girl(s) are hit or miss, but not horrible by any means.
My PC is Dr. Michelle Nacouzi at North Raleigh Medical Group off of Falls of Neuse, it's also an urgent care clinic so you can get care even if you don't have an appointment.
Dr. Wehbie with Boylan Healthcare is wonderful.
2 locations --both are off Six Forks Rd at opposite ends. One is on Browning Place near North Hills and the other is off Forum Dr.
In Durham, can anyone recommend a PCP? we're considering Durham Internal Medicine Associates. We have always gone to Manning Family Practice at UNC, but the drive is getting to be too much, and we hate losing our docs after they finish their residencies.
I love Dr. Craig Warner at Rex Family Practice in Wakefield. Always hated going to the doc until I started going to him, and he always makes me laugh. Plus he's a darned good physician.
I love love love Dr. Noelle Robertson, MD . .she has an office in Raleigh and Cary.
I believe Dr. Robertson is in the same practice that I use. Carolina Family Practice and Sports Med. They have offices in N. Ral, Cary and now Holly Springs. I use Dr Bloom and both my parents see Dr. Stevens. This practice is also the Dr's for the Carolina Hurricanes.
I have had a great experience with Avance Primary Care. I used to go to one of their locations in Raleigh but they opened a new location in Cary recently which i started going to. They are open till 7, have weekend hours, accept most insurance, and most every time I go there isn't a wait time. They also have a Garner location but i have never been to that one.
Here is their info:
