Looks like very cool fun! And makes me realize I'm just too old for standing in line and jockeying for position. (sigh)

I'll be there and am very excited. It is going to be a great festival, if exhausting. The individual aspects alone (free day parties, the main stage, and the nighttime clubs) would be a big deal. When you add it all up, it is just mind blowing the number of bands playing and things to do.

Looking really forward to all the main stage acts, but especially Flaming Lips. And at night, especially interested in seeing Swans, Future Islands, Love Language and J Mascis. Add in day parties all over (and the Rosebuds look to be a highlight there), and other events like posterScotch, Moment's Note photography exhibit, and the Edward McCay author and artists series, and it is just nonstop coolness. Even for an old guy like me.

Being of a certain age myself, I can only do so much too, haha. I picked going to the Mann's World free day party at the Dive Bar: [link to info and list of bands (http://mannsworld.blogspot.com/p/manns-world-day-party-at-hopscotch.html - broken link)]. No lines there! That will probably do it for me but have lots of friends continuing on.

Not me. Reading about it from that link, it seems like watching paint dry might be more exciting?
