I have a 67 mustang coupe that I am trying to restore. I need a shop that will blast it, prime it so we can have it good to go for body work, painting, etc.

Any recommendations in Raleigh or Fayetteville area?

Why blast the entire body? It is better to keep as much of the original paint as possible and remove just the rust. Besides, media blasting has been known to warp the metal.

There could be a lot of body filler and/or previous coats of paint hidden under what's there.

That's a little OT though. I'm also interested in hearing of some places around here that do this.

You would probably get more answers posting that on horsepowerjunkies.

I would be beneficial to keep the original paint so that the new paint will stick better but that is not the case on a car this old.
