I am considering a move from Massachusetts to the the Raleigh/Durham area. I am sick to death of winter (originally a southerner)

What's the best way to find employment? I haven't really had to do much to find a job over the past 20 years or so; they just happened.

Should I find the service with the most listings and submit to them or just fire off my resume to all companies that look interesting?
The reason I am considering a service is I am not 100% satisfied with my resume.

My background is electrical engineering.

Thanks

Are you a member of your alumni association? Most of them have a person whose sole job is career services for alumni and they can help you work your resume to its full potential. I used this service when I was reentering the job market and it was a big help.
