I need to replace a double-pane window. I just need the sealed glass, not the entire sash. I did a quick search here and found a recommendation for Glass Guru and Glass Doctor. I'm not sure if the latter will only sell the glass. Any others to check with? I'd like to get two or three quotes. Thanks.

Check out Glass Depot USA, i believe they are off Poole Rd or in that area. They may provide what you need.

I dont know where you are, but Rice's Glass in Carrboro is outstanding.
Jacobs Glass in Durham is also good!

Dont do that job yourself unless you have real experience doing it. The future owners of your house will thank you.

Why do you say that? It's not any harder to replace a double-pane glass than ordinary glass. The future owners will probably thank me anyway, as I am fixing some of the things the builder didn't do right.

I ended up getting the glass from Glass Depot. Good pricing, very easy to work with and I had the replacement glass in 2 days. They get my recommendation.
