My daughter didn't get into our 1st choice (of course); we're on 4 waiting lists right now. If nothing pans out she will be assigned to W. Cary. Well, I was forced to re-apply during round 1 b/c W. Cary feeds into (at least) 3 high schools: Cary, Panther Creek, and Green Hope. So, I had to prioritized which feeder pattern I wanted for her in terms of high school. I did that.

However, NO ONE has been able to tell me which high school feeder pattern she got, even though she got W. Cary as her official assignment. They told me it would be available Monday (this past monday). Nope. No other answers from Assignment personnel. Just "keep waiting on your waitlists and check back."

Has ANYONE been through this? Have any answers?

I thought the whole point of this exercise was a definitive feeder for life???

Do you have time to go over to their offices? Sometimes it's hard to say "sorry, can't answer that" when you're standing right there.

HAHAHAHAHA, yeah, they were "supposed to" be n'hood schools, too. Not.

I will probably try to go over there next week during spring break (provided they are not on break, too). I hadn't thought of that!
