I tried posting this a week or so ago but didn't receive any responses. Can anyone provide feedback, good or bad, regarding the Neuse Charter school?

Thanks so much!

I don't have first- hand knowledge of the school but I have done some research on the school. The responses that I have gotten were all favorable. It appears to be a tight knit community that stresses educating the whole child. They require parent involvement (4 hours/month/child) that helps to emphasize the family/school bond.

My son just got off the waitlist and it looks like we will be attending next year. I met with the assistant principal last week to answer my questions! Very honest and open.

There have been several threads on 4042(dot)com about the school!

Good luck!

Oh, okay! Thanks so much. How long were you on a wait list? And would you happen to know- if you're a multi child family...what are the odds that all would be placed rather than one or two?

Thanks again!

We tried to get in last school year for 6th grade but there were 0 openings. They do the lottery inthe spring and was not selected but they called last week and he go in. My other son did not get selected, although once one is in then siblings get first priority for the next year. I know each grade levelopenings are different. I would call and ask about the exact grade/s you are interested in.

I called and made an appointment with the assistant principal and met last week, and he was able to answer my questions. Feel free to DM me if you have more questions and I willshare what info I have received
