i am moving from nj to nc next august and am overwhelmed with the amounts of apartments in the raleigh area. i recently visited friends in holly springs and loved it there, but can't seem to find any apartments there. i would be willing to live in any NICE part of the raleigh area, but i need help. i am looking for a pet (large dog) friendly complex that is less than $600. i will be visiting in late may, and need some destination points to really get to look at when we're down there. thank you.

I don't know of any apartments that are less than $600. Better off renting a room if that is your requirement.

Best of luck to you.

You might find a $600 apartment waay out in the country. But with a large dog, would you be better off in a house with a yard?

That certainly would bust a $600 budget.

My complex is dog friendly but a large 1 BR is over $700. Worth it though.

I always mean to tell you that I remember when your apartments were being built. It was right around the time I graduated high school and my mom's then-boyfriend was one of the construction unit supervisors.

They did a great job on the buildings.

Very few noise issues. Only real flaws were cheap garbage disposals and cabinets.

Lots of room between buildings.

Thanks for the info.
