As far as 401 Oberlin, they finished tearing the old building down this past week.

Some of that Crabtree stuff has been on the shelf a long long time. I'd love to see that hill get developed. Hopefully someone breaks ground soon, maybe the rest will follow.

You mean the hill where the Hampton Inn is almost completed?

I think referring to the now vacant area behind the mall along Crabtree Valley Avenue.

Ahh yes the old strip mall. My understanding is that land is owned by the same folks that own Crabtree. They had some grand ideas of expanding the mall in that direction but it turned out to just be cheaper to cannibalize part of the parking lot between Belk and Barnes and Noble.

Actually there are several other landowners of properties back there all along CV Ave. Those project links that were posted were real projects (or at least hopeful) at one time. Just not sure when and if they will get going.

Ruing the Marriott downtown, design and scale wise. I'd love a signature hotel. One more to add. The company that bought the Clarion will be doing major renovations to it.
