Having been a long-time customer of Over the Falls Deli (in the same shopping center) and having heard about this place, we had to check it out. Sunday was a great day, since it was chilly and raining.
The place has a retro but modern feel to it - if that's possible. The equipment such as the scorekeeping, ball return area, etc all feel "old tyme" to me. The lanes are close together with not a lot of room behind them for hanging out and spreading your stuff out (no place to put your street shoes, but they're working on a shelving system).
I like the feel of it - it's cozy and doesn't have that smoky, pool hall smell/feel that most bowling alleys I'm used to would have. They have a full bar and you can order snacks and food as well. I believe total cost for one game with my wife and 3 year old daughter including shoe rental was about $25, so it's not cheap, but it did take an hour to get through a game with our other friends who also had a 3 year old bowling.
Each lane has mechanical bumpers that you can request be put up for small ones, and they also have a ramp that little ones can use to roll the ball down the lane.
Here are a few photos I got with my phone camera when we visited:
