It's about time!

We in Chatham County have had those restrictions since October. No outdoor watering, no washing your car (they even closed many car washes), no irrigation. You can water with a watering can only.
And Jordan Lake, our water source, is not that low.

About time you joined the effort.

This is an old thread. Durham's outdoor water ban started in October.

Lauren, if you check the date this thread was created, you'll see that lawn watering was banned in Durham back in October.

Edit to add: Mdp_az beat me to it! Thanks

Default Dual Flush Retro Kits

I visited a showroom here in Raleigh, KB Direct, that was promoting water conservation products on the radio. They offer a dual flush retrofit kit for under $50 & it took me all of 20 minutes to install on each toilet. They have one installed on an old toilet at their office so you can see it really works. Who needs to buy a new $$$ toilet when you can get this now from a small, locally owned company that isn't a big box store?

Do they have this at Lowe's &/or Home Depot? Is that what it's called exactly, so I'll know what to look for? I'm not real handy, but did manage to replace a broken flapper on the toilet recently, which was a big deal for me!

I haven't seen them at Lowe's or Home Depot but I went to K&B Direct as well and got one and didn't have any problem putting it in.
