Any recommendations on where to buy a new, decent treadmill?
My husband has been looking at a 3.5 HP model - probably spending ~$1500.
We went to Dick's and he was interested in an EPIC model, but the service was horrible and some reviews online indicated that Dick's aren't the greatest if there is a problem once you get the equipment home.

I'd suggest going with an elliptical trainer rather than a flat treadmill. My husband bought his elliptical at Sears. Good selection, and the price was about $800-900.

Our gym paid US Fitness $3400 for a really good gym quality Vision Fitness elliptical. I use this unit daily, and Sears is not even in the same league.
Good quality equipment is necessary for serious fitness training. Don't flush your cash on junk.
I've had an elliptical from sears for 10 years and it's still great and around the $800.00 price range. The ones at the gym are obviously nicer, but they are being used all day long, every single day, by multiple people.
You dont' need a $3000.00 piece of equipment for your own home use.
