Ok, I know what you are thinking......
Wait what did she just ask about moblie home parks? yes, I did.
I am seeking sincere input on the 30 some moblie home parks( mostly in the Chapel hill, Carborro areas.
There is many in Cary and Apex also.
Reason I am considering a moblie home park is i want a stable place to put down in the triangle area before buying and I unravel all my entanglements I have in 2 other states( sell two homes one in Maryland one in Atlanta Area) without dealing with the renting mess because I have a Austic child i home school, service dog, and 2 cats. I eventually intend to buy but I really want to sell the exsisting places I have now and get a bigger down payment for the one I buy in the Triangle area.
So, if you had to pick of the many in the area which one would you recommend a strong consideration.?
My budget is 1,100 a month so I am sure im safe on lot rent costs and leasing costs.
Generally speaking, mobile home parks around here are for people with a budget of $400-500. $1100 will get you a far superior house in several areas of the triangle, and likely far safer neighbors.

townhouse /apartment is not an option for me. I have searched for 'houses' and either they were in some very nasty areas, or less then 1,000 square feet. Every landlord ( all 30 of them..will not accept pets) can't say as i blame them..people tend to trash rentals.
Most apartments are not ADA certified and accessible.

Are mobile homes?
Honestly, as others have pointed out, with $1100 price range you can find much more stable environments than a mobile home park. At the end of the day I doubt you will find much first hand mobile home experience on this forum.
You could just rent a small house or duplex for that price. I'd suggest that. You're more likely to get a fenced yard for the animals and/or child.
