They have 4g lte in this area...if you have a compatible phone. I have a iphone4 3G. Great speeds at my house on west side of Durham. But I pick my wife up everyday near Brightleaf and the 3g stinks. Goes in and out and is slow... Nice thing, there is a lot of wifi spots in Durham.
I mostly use my phone as a phone though....and I have been happy with the calling quality. Like I said, there are those 'spots' but I know most of them.
