Hi there,

I used to buy mulch at Homewood or Home Depot in North Raleigh and mulch masters if I wanted a pile'o'mulch but I have since moved to Cary...

I wasn't overly thrilled with the 1 choice at Lowe's of Cedar mulch. The other Lowe's choices looked suspicious and didn't say what kind of wood was in it. I noticed, they were all made by the same company....

so three questions:

1) is it true that anything other than cedar mulch can attract termites?

2) where do you buy bagged mulch in (west) Cary?

3) If I wanted to get 2-5 yards delivered of mulch, who would you use in the West Cary area?

thanks in advance!

There is a place on hwy55, very near 540 that sells mulch in bulk, landscapaing stones, and etc. Try them. Also, any garden center, I would think. There's one on Old Apex Rd between Cary Pkwy and Chatham. All I know is they are there, and they stay busy. That has to count for something, right?

The Mulch Masters - Wake County's largest source for mulch, pine straw and stone

My boss likes to say it with an echo.... MULCH MASTERSmastersmasters.......

He's used them before. I can't personally recommend them, but since Boss has used them more than once, I take it they're good.

(What can I say, we're both warped. lol)

That's Garden Supply on Old Apex very nice people, not sure about the price. We've bought mulch at Ace i think it's Town and Country now, there should be one on that side of town.
