Every month or so there's one of these threads. Good idea but fails miserably in the face of reality. These projects are very expensive to build,expensive to maintain and expensive to ride. Requiring a permanent taxpayer subsidy.
When the Federal government even says it's not economically feasible you know it's a boondoggle.

You realize our highways are expensive to build, expensive to maintain, expensive to ride, and require a permanent taxpayer subsidy too, right?

I would rather get way ahead of the curve instead of just copying what other cities did decades ago. This is why I am proposing Jet Packs. Personal Jetpack
