The tree lighting is November 17th - I'm not sure about the Raleigh dates but it sounds like you might know them.

NRG I thought you were going to be really ambitious and go to both!!!!! They are also both broadcast on WRAL (I believe). The wake forest christmas parade is Dec 8th as well.

Wow wow wow the Streets at Southpoint tree lighting event was awesome. I was really kicking myself for not bringing my camera. Lifehouse was absolutely amazing, and sound SO good live. There were other really great performers, including the 82nd Airborne Chorus, and the NC Dance Institute who did an Old-Navy-commercial-esque dance in scarves and sweaters, and then did some great dancing/jumping during Lifehouse's "Hanging By a Moment". My 5yo, who's ambition in life is to be a "tank guy" was really excited to see soldiers for the first time ever. All the boys said (well the ones who can talk) that their favorite part was seeing Santa of course And we got a very up close view of him afterwards as he got into a police SUV to be taken home hehe. "Mommy...why is Santa getting in a fire truck?" The tree lighting was amazing to see (40,000 lights I think they said), and it was all wrapped up by Lifehouse singing "And so this is Christmas" while fake snow fell out of the sky - or so it seemed anyway

I love my mall
