I'm pregnant with twins. We finally shut the windows this morning when it was 56 in the house. Still haven't turned on the heat. I'm in yoga pants and a sweatshirt and feel comfy. If I move around too much, I get hot even at 56 degrees. Hubby is loving this new me and so is our checkbook.
I still have the screen door open and windows open. I did cave and put on long pants and socks the other day. I am trying to condition myself for my hunting trip in North Dakota. Temp is supposed to be 30 our first morning there.

Temp is supposed to be 29 on Saturday morning here in Chapel Hill!
I miss summer desperately already... And the fact that it was rainy/cloudy so often during the summer this year makes me feel robbed of a decent summer including more than one rained out cookout and or biking excursions.

My first was an early Spring baby, 2 years later my youngest was a fall baby, and yes - the fall/winters were a blessing. You GO momma, for baking two at once. All of my respect, and then some.
That said, still haven't turned on the heat. Born and raised a FL native for 21 years, but I'm thinking the PNW did something to my blood. House hasn't gone below 66 though, so time will tell.
We turned ours on last night. I'm a wimp and wanted to make sure there won't be any issues when it really gets cold. We turned on the fireplace tonight...the cat is loving it! She has already parked herself about an inch from the glass.
Finally broke down and turned it on this morning. It was 60 degrees in my house when I woke up!
I won't use it at night because the heat pump is too loud. I just bury myself in blankets.
