Forgive me for asking a dumb question, but if it gets dark, is it difficult to find your way back to where you started from? I imagine you have a flashlight but I didn't see any lights on the shore to guide you.

I typically get back before it gets dark-dark. I know friends that kayak at night have the headbands with the lights on them.
