I just wanted to see if anyone would recommend a company that could build custom bookshelves in our new home. We would ideally like two high bookshelves on two sides and a lower shelving unit in the middle that could serve as our television stand.
There are a number of millwork shops in the area, as well as some serious garage/basement woodworkers who would be able to do this. Some are better with historical styles, some lean modern/stylish, some specialize in green/reclaimed materials.

I'm not sure how the styles are described. Given that the wall does not have the capacity to build these into the wall we would need it to be freestanding however attached to the wall. In a nut shell we have a 17ft wall and centered on the wall we plan to have a 60/70" TV. We would like to have a stand below the TV with cabinets. On both sides of the TV we would like the book shelves on the top and more cabinets on the bottom.
