Hi City-Data,

Very new to the area and currently looking to enroll my 2 year old daughter in a daycare in Holly Springs.
I've toured New School Montessori, Kiddie Academy, The Learning Experience, and Holly Springs Academy. I've seen Little Pros and The Carolina School, but have not yet visited either. My top choices are the New School, Kiddie Academy, and the Learning Experience. I love that Kiddie Academy has cameras that families can monitor online (once children are registered), but I had my daughter do a trial day there and she came home with one less diaper than I'd packed... so I'm not too sure about them anymore . I was just wondering if anyone has had any personal experiences with any of these places, or heard anything about them? Since I'm so brand new to the area, I'm not aware of any of their reputations.

Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated. All the daycare threads having to do with this area are years old... Thanks!!

We absolutely love The Primrose School. We attend the one in Cary;however, the one in Holly Springs is owned by the same people so I'm guessing it's equally as good.

It's not on your list but my son went to Holly Springs School For Early Education and we LOVED it there. There were two kids in his class that were the youngest of three siblings and all the older siblings had gone there too. It's not the "fanciest" daycare in Holly Springs, but the teacher turnover is really small and the director is awesome. We use their track out camp now that he's at school.

Yikes, a whole day? Did you ask about it? Is it possible that they used someone else's diapers? I guess they could claim that is what they did by accident, so you wouldn't know for sure.

One diaper? How long was she there? It must've been down around her ankles if it was a whole day!

Just wanted to revive this thread and see if anyone had any more input. We're expecting our first child in May and need to make some decisions!

Holly Springs School foe Early Education is awesome! I didn't have a child there but I worked there. The only reason I left was because I wanted to stay home with my kids. The teachers are all great with the kids and really get involved! The infant teachers are amazing and so sweet.

Bringing this to the top again. My wife and I visited Primrose, The Learning Experience, HS School for Early Education and Holly Springs Learning Center.

Certainly Primrose and TLE are newer facilities and nicer, but not sure the additional cost is justified over HSS for EE. We weren't really impressed with the Learning Center at all.

Honestly, for an infant, I'd prefer someone's home that you feel is trust worthy. Someone who can give the baby 1 on 1 attention. Does your neighborhood have a newsletter or a website/Facebook page? I'd ask around the neighborhood to see if any stay at home moms would be willing to take on an infant. Maybe a Mom whose kids are in school all day? At least for the baby's first year.

we bounced around a bit until holly we got to holly springs learning center. The other places called for us to get them every week when our kids were teething or some other ridiculous reason. I had a place call me cause my son was clammy and I wound up getting him to only learn that they send some teachers home early and make a few calls to make sure ratios are ok by law.

I may have been called twice by HSLC and they were legit reasons.
