Engine rebuild shop? (Raleigh, Garner, Clayton: live, price, area)

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good engine rebuild shop in the Raleigh area? If you know of one in the Raleigh/Clayton area that would be great.

Hi Kyphur, I am myself looking for a good, inexpensive replacement engine for my sons Nissan Maxima 2000 SL, is a 3.0 engine and the timing chain die on it, wondering if you found a place that you can recommend to me?

I got a engine replaced two years ago with no problems for a great price. It was a very small shop in the Cleveland area - Watkins Auto and Diagnostics. Was not fast but I have been very pleased.

So far the one I've found that I like is Loop Road auto in Garner (close to where I live). The guys there seem to know their stuff from hot rods to regular drivers so far.
