Jerry at J and J Hair Salon is a beekeeper and a hairdresser in Wake Forest.

I'd suggest you call first. He sells rather quickly.

Wood Leaf Honey at the Wake Forest Farmers Market. Lots of honey products, and wonderful people.

There are lots at the farmer's markets in Carrboro/Chapel Hill. Some local ones I know of in the vicinity of Orange County are Just Bee Apiary, Lee's Bees, and Little Flying Cows.

I second Bee Blessed. Good stuff! Their standard gallberry is good, but the honeysuckle honey is out of the park.

My wife and I get honey from here.

From what I've heard, no one in Raleigh / Wake really collects/sells honey. It's mostly from one or two counties over.

I'm sure the Wake County Beekeeper's Association would disagree. Just because you don't know any Wake County beekeepers doesn't mean there aren't any.
