Is it just me, or is the pollen much worse this year? (Past fall seemed bad too.) Lived here for 14 years and I don't recall this much pollen this late in the year...

Nah. It really bothered me and my eldest kid this year. Everyone else in the house said it was bad, but it didn't bug them as much as it did us.

I'm having an absolutely horrible time with allergies this year. I haven't been this bad off since I first moved down here nearly 25 years ago. I even have broken out in a severe rosacea attack which I haven't had in years and years.

Thing is, the great green explosion didn't seem nearly as visibly severe so I don't know what is going on.

I'm a mess.

The hardwood pollen was terrible, or should I say IS terrible. It's still falling here.

I am having a horrible time. Also lived here for 14 years and this is the most horrible year for me. I take Zyrtec year round and it is not helping much. And for some reason, I can't stop sneezing and that's a symptom I never had before.

It's still getting me too. I thought it was over but whatever's out there now (which I can see floating through the air in the right light) is no fun. I don't think it's the worst year for me, but I really look forward to the end.

I was tested a few years back and am allergic to grasses.. the yellow pine never bothers me.
But, yes I've had a rough year this year, and the grasses are probably why.

I heard on the radio the other day that the tree pollens are done and now it's grass pollens.

Yes. I never get itchy eyes, but it's bad this year. I AM allergic to hardwood trees, so no surprise, just haven't had any trouble in many years. More than I'd like to count! I suspect I'm allergic to grasses too because whenever anyone mows I sneeze like crazy.
