Hello! My children get medicaid and my older boy has a chronic illness that he needs to see a doctor for regularly. When I recieved the medicaid cards the doctor was assigned to him but upon calling to make an appointment, I was told the doctors will not see un vaccinated kids. So I began going down the medicaid list and turns out, most of them won't see my kids, and none near us in Garner. I understand why these rules are in place. We are new to the area and I realize now that unlike our old city, the choice to not vaccinate is not a popular one. Does anyone get medicaid and have unvaccinated kids? Who is your doctor? Thanks!

Vaccinate your poor kids. Stop making poor decisions.

With the new affordable care act (AKA Obama Care), providers have metrics/guidelines they must adhere to. I expect it will become more difficult as time goes on to not go along with govt. guidelines.

Those of us who as children had, or knew people with the diseases you do not want to protect your kids from, wouldn't dream of not vaccinating kids. Please consider protecting your kids and those of other parents.

Practice Guidelines were in place long before the Affordable Care Act became law....

If anyone knows of a pediatrician the OP could try, please send her a DM.
